A hospital in a suburban town faces a financial crisis. Doctor Kamiko Ryo is the acting director of the municipal hospital. He is a rationalist who takes management very seriously. Meanwhile, Yuge Bunpei is a veteran detective and he works in the same town as the hospital.
Kamiko and Yuge would not appear to have much in common, but vicious crimes take place in the town. These crimes are closely related to the collapse and revival of the regional medical hospital. Kamiko and Yuge face the crimes caused by people who have fallen through the cracks of society, see the crimes from their own respective positions, and solve them together.
